  5. Welcome to the Painter 4.0 Demo! To install the demo version of Painter, 
  6. simply run the setup program by double-clicking on SETUP.EXE.

  8. ABOUT THE DEMO
  9. This demo version of Painter 4.0 contains all the features of the regular
  10. program except the ability to save, print, paint across a network and work
  11. with frame-by-frame animation. All the great Natural-Media tools are
  12. available for your use. Because of size/downloading considerations we were
  13. unable to include all the extras included on the Painter CD -- over 500Mb
  14. of artwork, stock photography, animation and technical tips.

  16. Please note that this demonstration version of Painter is for Windows 95
  17. ONLY. The retail version of Painter support both Windows 3.x and Windows 95.

  19. Windows System Requirements
  20. - 486 or faster processor
  21.   (some effects require a math coprocessor)
  22. - 8Mb of memory
  23. - Windows 95 (retail version also supports Windows 3.x)
  24. - Color display (24-bit recommended)
  25. - Hard disk with 20Mb free
  26. - Painter supports most pressure sensitive tablets
